Long-distance move from Bardstown, KY to Cape Coral, FL

Corrupt Liers

They lied about bringing an empty truck which was 3/4 full so my partial load was put is storage in two states with quoted delivery of 5 days. Delivery was actually 30 days and they extorted more than $10,000 extra from us to actually deliver our furniture. Several expensive items were destroyed and lost even though we received other peoples' furniture. We have contacted the FBI and Department of Transportation for possible criminal charges against the owners. Stay away from this company.

Captivating Experience

These movers started working immediately, didn't stop until the completion of work, and had excellent coordination. The relocation procedure, from packing to unloading, proceeded without a hitch. Even though we had just recently moved into our new home, everything had been well packed, the boxes had labels, and there was no confusion, which made unpacking very simple.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Absolute scam!!!

I’m not even sure how I initially got set up with this company, but never again. I thought I was calling Mayflower but somehow got routed through to this company. The gentleman I spoke with on the phone was very pleasant and gave me a reasonable quote, and even offered to pack my house for me. Unfortunately that is where the good ends.

Upon arriving at my house the day of my move, the moving company informed me that my move would cost an ADDITIONAL $8,000 from what I had already paid due to “the size of my move”. I was initially quoted for about 600 cubic feet, which was then more than doubled to 1400 cubic feet upon pickup. Not having any other options, I was forced to pay because they already had my items on their truck.

I found it really puzzling to believe that my move would take up that much space since the place I was moving out of was a 700 square foot condo.

I was then told that I would have 60 days of free storage, but after taking my items the company informed me that it would only be 30 days. I then called the storage company with the details of my drop off and they informed me that they had no record of me or my items which was very concerning. I then called the number on my invoice for US Interstate & Rail who also had no record of me. Finally after calling the number on the website, they were able to direct me to the storage company that had my items to arrange for delivery.

My items were then held hostage for delivery until I paid their driver an additional $1,700 for a Uhaul they had to rent because their “80 foot truck” supposedly wouldn’t fit in my 100+ foot driveway.

I was told by the moving company that along with the packing services I had paid for, it also included unpacking, as well as a $25,000.00 insurance policy per item that they packed, so it just made sense to have them do it all.

Upon delivery, my items were delivered in a small uhaul (again confirming my belief that this wasn’t the 1400 cubic foot move they tried to tell me it was) and all left in my garage for me to unload, unpack and put together. Upon unpacking I came to find out that a box of my music gear (that this company packed) was now missing. Equipment totaling over $10,000.00 now unaccounted for, as well as multiple items such as my TV, Couch, entertainment center and other music equipment all broken. Along with that, there were numerous items that did not belong to me.

Hoping that it was a mix up and that maybe I got someone else’s items and they received mine, I tried reaching out to the company numerous times for the following month with zero response.

After the 6th inquiry with no response or follow up, I proceeded to move forward with opening a claim for the missing items.

After 3 weeks, the claims company reached out to me and informed me that my move did not cover the $25,000.00 per item packed that they told me, but instead only 60 cents per pound, making my reimbursement due $91.00. Had I known that they were lying about their insurance coverages, I would have packed and done the move myself.

Not only am I out from being severely overcharged for the move, but now I am out thousands of dollars worth of musical equipment that I have acquired over the years, while this company refuses to take any accountability to try to help me recover/replace my lost and broken items.

This company claims that they aren’t brokers, but the more I have had to deal with them, the more I begin to believe they are lying about that as well. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

SCAMMERS & THIEVES

This company is beyond a scam. They scheduled a window for pickup time and with no communication at all, don’t show up until 7pm well after Our agreed upon dates for pickup. They then try to charge you thousands in extra costs. We talked to the driver and agreed on a day to meet for the drop off. AGAIN, they no show with no communication. Now we are all the way across the country with 3-4 days of clothes and a few blankets and pillows from the car ride. EVERY time I call to talk to management, they are never in the office and after having our dispute “forwarded to upper mgmt,” it’s been a week with still no communication from this joke of a company. So now we wait, sleeping on the floor, not knowing if we’ll ever see our things again.

Bait and switch

Don’t hire them. They called us and asked if they could give us on our move from Florida to Colorado. We told them that we could fit everything into a 27’ Uhaul Van. They gave us a price of $4400. We stupidly gave them a deposit. Fortunately it was on a credit card. They pressured us for a bank draft. We said no. 5 days before they were supposed to show up, they called to do a phone inventory. We told them the same thing but broken down to number of boxes etc. now they bump the price up $6600. We said no, we agreed on a 27’ uhaul van equivalent. I demanded My deposit back or for them to show up with an empty 28’ truck which the sales man said they would. They refused to honor the original price or refund our deposit of $1400. Fortunately my Visa card has an anti fraud office and they had not yet sent the money to the company.

Do not use these crooks. Bait you with a low price and then jack it up $2,000.

Don’t send cash or bank draft.

SCAM!!!

The price listed was the deposit I was scammed out of ($1800)--my movers told me it would be nearly 4 times that ($8000)to move a 2 bedroom apartment. I was quoted an estimate for 450 ft3, even though I told them previously I needed a 22 ft truck to move. When the actual movers arrived (1.5 days late--no updates; just me sitting, my broker Jordan D did not return my calls once), they told me my move would be nearly three times as much as I was quoted. They had other items in the truck with no partition, a mattress falling over and an open box of picture frames falling out, and did not bring any of the packing items I had requested. Absolutely terrible. I had to cancel on sight because I could not trust either the movers or the broker. The broker keeps the deposit, and probably assumed I would pay the overcharge just to get it over with.

Do not use

DO NOT USE.

I will never use this company again. We were originally quoted $4,000 after talking with this guy on the phone with giving a rough estimate of our stuff several months prior. A week before, we added 10 boxes to our total after doing some packing and the price jumped up by $2,000. When we were finally finished packing, we called the company a few days before to tell them that we had more than the boxes we originally told them and the person on the phone could have cared less and told us just to tell the movers when they got there. After showing up three hours late (which wouldn't have been a big deal if we hadn't been trying to catch a plane) they quoted us at $9,500 and the movers were annoyed because our stuff was not going to all fit on the truck with someone else's things. Even more annoying than pay all this extra than what we intended on paying was that we had moved 80% of the stuff to the front porch besides a few pieces of furniture...all the movers had to do was put in on the truck. We should have just left everything where it was, but we really should have just done a uhaul.

While moving things out they drug a table across the hardwood floors and left a huge mark in the floor. When we called the person said just to get someone out to quote for someone to fix the floor, good thing that was on a Friday and our home closed on Monday. My husband could hear them sliding the boxes down the stairs instead of carrying. Why wouldn't the employees do things the correct way so the new owners don't have a gash in their floor that we end up paying for because they don't want the headache of dealing with someone else.

All this to say is I didn't think their customer service was greatest when talking with the people we did have conversations with and the people who actually did the heavy lifting did the least amount of lifting as possible causing us to have to pay extra because they did not do the job they were hired to do.

After waiting two weeks for stuff to arrive, the truck showed up. So sketch you have to pay thousands of dollars in cash. The guys driving the truck stated that it was 150 feet to get to the storage unit and it would be an extra $250. Luckily my husband had a measuring tape in the truck and measured it to be 85 feet…somehow the guy calculated charging us an extra $150. After speaking with someone they graciously cut it from $150 to $75 and were excited about the customer service they provided by getting the price lowered…even though it should have been the $75 the entire time (even though the contract says $75 for an extra 75 feet so wouldn’t it be $1 per foot?). After talking with management the extra money they charge goes directly to the guys moving so they can “guesstimate” however much they want and charge you if you are not careful.

Please use another company and save yourself the headache.

Scammed us

This was the worst customer service experience of my life. I was yelled at by three separate associates. I was underquoted by 200 square feet, told my price would not change, and they tried to charge $2500 above what they originally quoted, which was twice the amount we were originally quoted. An iota of customer service would have made this possible but they were unwilling to work with us. We lost an $800 deposit but we felt so unsafe sending our furniture with them as this is clearly a scam operation. Please do not hire them. You will end up in tears. PS look at other sites which will also show that this is a scam company- this five star rating is clearly all due to reviews by bots. Won’t be surprised if this review is taken down immediately.

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM - BAIT & SWITCH

I was quoted $6k to move a 3 bdr apartment on the first floor from Maryland to Florida. I reviewed everything in my apartment with the rep room by room. I was told I would I would have a full 26ft truck, 3-4 guys, it would take them 3-4 days and I was a direct haul. Upon signing 1/2 was due and the other 1/2 due upon delivery. I booked them in March for the end of July, At the end of April I moved the date to 7/15/23.

I was assured I would have 7/15/23 although my two day window was 7/14 & 7/15. At the end of June I called the confirm things, again I was assured all was fine and I was definitely on 7/15. Then on 7/10 I received a text from them stating my move was on 7/14, I panicked and called in right away. I spoke with a manager and was advised to check my email, sign the confirmation lock in date for 7/15 which I did and was reassured that I was on for 7/15. Later that day a woman from their logistics team called and wanted me to switch my day to 7/12, 13 or 14 I stated I couldnt and she became upset then I told her I was locked into the 15th she stated that wasnt possible and said she would call back. I called the company and was told to ignore the call from logistics that someone would definitely be there on 7/15. At 1p on 7/14 I received a call again from logistics, my move was now on 7/16 between 9a-12. I was furious. On 7/16 they showed up at 245 and my quote went up an additional $9k.I was told that if I backed out I would be sued and I would lose my deposit. I was backed into a corner and I had to pay $2500 for a pick up fee. They finally started moving around 6pm, a friend stayed so I could start driving. At midnight the driver calls to tell me that some of my belongings wouldnt fit and they left them. Again furious. The next day I called in and they had no idea my items were left. Well although they inventoried everything and upcharged me by $9k the items left in the apartment now werent included in the fee and they wanted another $4k and in order to get my deliver I could ONLY now pay in cash or USPS money order that was made out to a completely different company MOVING MANIA, I ended up having to wire the funds but again to MOVING MANIA and not US Interstate. Upon delivery they didnt put anything back together, they didnt unwrap anything. They left their blankets, things were damaged, things were broken and several items are just gone. The customer service reps are rude, they just want to take your money and will lie and say ANYTHING to get it. DO NOT USE US INTERSTATE & RAIL OR MOVING MANIA.

Scam...Beware

SCAM ALERT!!!

They gave me an estimate over the phone. I said I would need the space of a 26 foot box truck. The sales person wanted to talk about box sizes and number. I had no idea, but told him I had stuff in garage and storage so had planned to rent a 26 foot UHaul. He gave me a quote of $2800, which was great. So I pay the $1400 deposit. When they arrived, they tell me it is much more than 401 cubic foot and I would need a larger truck. I told them I know and that is what I told the sales person...I need a 26 foot truck. They told me my move would be another $11,000! That is about 4x the original quote. And now, even though they grossly low balled the quote, they refuse to refund the deposit. This is a typical bait and switch scam. You either pay a lot more than quoted as they are right there, or you cancel, lose your deposit and have to make other arrangements at beyond last minute.

Unethical Business Beware!!!

Do yourself a favor and avoid this company at all costs. Their typical business model is to give you a low quote than jack up the price when the driver arrives and you are forced to pay the higher price or be stuck with them leaving without taking your shipment. They know they have you over a barrell, so they rip you off! We had a shipment of about 70 boxes, a queen size mattress and box spring, and 1 6ft step ladder. The estimated space was quoted as 515 Cubic feet. When the driver arrived, they said our shipment was 1000 cubic feet. I had counted and premeasured all the boxes and the total volume of our shipment was under the 515 cubic feet of the quote and nowhere near the revised quote of 1000 cubic feet. Since the driver arrived 9 hour late (about 9 pm), it was too late to contact anyone to dispute the new estimate. It was either pay the new outrageous charge or they would leave without taking our shipment. If you don't believe the negative reviews written here, check out Trust Pilot, Google Reviews, the Better Business Bureau reviews to read many more stories like mine. I have filed a formal complaint with the DOT in hopes of getting this company's license revoked.

Fraud, Overcharging

Do not believe anyone at this company. They will provide a bill of lading that looks legitimate and pretend to walk you through all the things you will get for it: packing services, furniture assembly/disassembly, wrapping of furniture, etc. Their sales people are well mannered and sound trustworthy but they conveniently disappear and stop taking your calls as soon as you put down the deposit.

A they were 12 hours late to pick up. (10 PM on a saturday), they dishonoured the original estimate, inflating it to more than 2.5x to a volume larger than my actual storage unit. The foreman literally looked me in the eye and said "You're moving to Manhattan, gotta be willing to pay."

Then they were late to deliver. When I asked for a revision of the insane charges, they held me hostage sayin they would not deliver my things if I disputed the charges.

I paid for reassembly of my furniture but they did no such thing, claiming it was not included (the delivery team didn't even bring tools).

BIGGEST red flag: The salesperson claimed that payment could be made by cheque/direct deposit and credit card. However at the time of pickup and delivery they would only accept Zelle/cashapp/cash.

Avoid like the plague.

Bait and Switch Company

Bait and switch company. Will give you a quote for items listed then the company will send a UHaul with only 2 guys and tell you the quote given won’t even fit the items that are on the inventory list. A 1-bedroom apt cost $6k in the end. Plus paid for full pack and movers came with no idea it was and had no supplies that were pre-paid. It’s a scam so stay away. Never been treated so badly by a company as a paying customer. Drew Johnson who claimed to be a manager was rude and a jerk. Company doesn’t understand that moving is stressful; just want your $ and entraps you so you have no choice but to pay what’s due at pick-up. BBB to come next.

The most crooked company I have ever delt with

This is the most crooked company I have ever delt with. They showed up and demanded 3 times the quoted price. We had an itemized list of what was to be moved and when they showed up we were told that it wasn't going to fit in the allotted space. They only took a 1/4 of what was on the list. And some the things they only took half. Like a bed that they took the headboard and the slats but not the side rails or the footboard. They took coffee tables but didn't take the tops. Their guys that showed up were saying how lazy they were and that they were just wanting to get out of there. Every step of the way they were trying to extort more money from us. If you want to have a good experience with a mover this is not the company to go with. Incredibly unethical, scammer crooks is what you get if you hire US Interstate and Rail

THIS IS A SCAM - DO NOT USE

DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY - THEY ARE A SCAM!!!! If I could give ZERO Stars I would!! They originally quoted us about $6k to move our 3 bedroom house from Phoenix, AZ to Denver, CO and then also gave us 2 months of free storage.. or so they said. We paid them 1/3 of the quote that day. On the day of the move, they showed up, and took 5 hours to wrap up our furniture (We had already packed all of our stuff in boxes ourselves). Then at 6pm, while I was trying to put our 5 month old baby down for a nap, they pressured us into signing a new contract because they told us we had more stuff than they had originally quoted us. They would not load our stuff onto their truck unless we signed. (Such a Red flag - we should have sent them away). The new quote was for $10k!!! We called Customer Service and they explained that they would be sending a new contract once they got our stuff to their storage where they could properly measure the room we would be taking up. We foolishly believed that BS. We paid another $3k that day to them. By the end of the night, one of the guys wouldn't help move anything else, and my husband had to move our things himself. They also wouldn't let us load about $3k worth of patio furniture, because it wasn't on their original video they took when they first got there. This was never explained to us. They called us a week later and told us they were arriving in Denver and needed an address to drop off our stuff. They told us we were no longer getting 2 months of free storage and if they had to store our stuff for any period of time, we would be charged $2,600 - on top of the $4,500 they were demanding just to get our items off the truck!!! They would also only take Cash.. it was a COMPLETE NIGHTMARE. We were completely Scammed!! DO NOT USE THEM, THEY ARE AWFUL. If anyone who has been scammed by them would like to file a lawsuit with us, they are deserving of a Class Action, and we will happily join in!! Do not trust these liars or their promises (and read the fine print- "

Jordan was a great salesman and seemed like a genuinely nice guy; as was Mike with Quality Assurance. I only went with this company because they GUARANTEED me that pick-up would be May 17th and delivery drop-off would be May 21st. It is June 15th and I still don't have my belongings. Worst part is- they still don't know when my things will arrive and the excuse is that they cannot find a driver! I have explained that my children's beds and all of their clothes and all of our belongings are on that shipment, but it does not matter to them. I have had several ladies now tell me that the fine print reads that they have up to 30 "business days" to drop off my things. Complete BS. Do NOT go with this company. They are amazing at getting their payments on time (1st three up front, and then the remaining balance at drop off), but they are horrible at actually following through on their promises.

It takes 30 days instead of 6-7 promised days

No one gives you fixed time of pick up until last minute. We couldn’t booked elevator for moving on time because they didn’t know when they are going to pick our stuff. The move was scheduled on August 2nd at 9am from NJ to California. The movers got here at noon, took pictures of everything, went out to talk to someone on the phone for 30 minutes and then got back to load our stuff. When they finished, they asked a question when would we need our stuff to be delivered. We said we understand it’s a long trip, but 6-7 days is ok. Today is August 25th. We still sleeping on air mattress in LA and dispatcher doesn’t know when we are getting our stuff. To be more specific, we were told that our stuff spent 2 weeks in NJ at some warehouse instead of being on the road. We had to spend so much money on extra stuff here when we could use our own that was supposed to be here. Fortunately for us, my boyfriend’s company paid for the move. They chose this company. I’ve got to read the reviews on this company after it was booked. Omg. I don’t even want to begin to imagine how our TV, coffee machine or scooter are going to look like after being dropped several times across the country from truck to truck.

Shady Business Practices and Broken Promises at US Interstate and Rail

As a young family with a newborn, we were excitedly looking forward to settling into our new home. We decided to hire US Rail and Interstate Movers for a full-service move, thinking it would be a stress-free experience. Little did we know that this decision would turn into a nightmare of epic proportions.

When we initially contacted the company, they assured us that the cost would be comparable to a U-Haul move. Based on a phone consultation and providing them with pictures of our storage unit, we proceeded to pay deposits, believing everything was in order. However, on the day of the move, reality hit us hard.

To our utter dismay, the movers arrived, only to inform us that the initial estimate was ridiculously off. They claimed we would need to pay an additional $7600 to accommodate all our belongings. We were shocked and felt cornered, as they threatened that canceling the move would mean forfeiting our deposits. We felt trapped and reluctantly agreed to proceed, under the pretense that they would move what they could.

To add insult to injury, we later discovered that buried deep within the convoluted 16-page contract was a clause stating that they had a staggering "30 business days" to deliver our belongings. This revelation left us dumbfounded and enraged. It seemed like a deliberate ploy to exploit us, knowing that we were in dire need of our household goods.

Our family now finds itself in an agonizing situation, with all our belongings sitting idle in some warehouse, while we are forced to sleep on the floor in our new home. The fact that we have a newborn only exacerbates the distressing circumstances we face.

We refuse to be taken advantage of any longer and have decided to seek legal assistance from our law firm to scrutinize this questionable contract. It is disheartening to think that a company would stoop so low as to hold someone's essential possessions hostage just to save a few bucks on shipping costs.

To anyone considering using US Rail and Interstate Movers, please heed this warning and think twice. Their lack of transparency, broken promises, and shady business practices have caused undue stress and hardship for our young family. We hope that no one else will have to endure such an ordeal and be separated from their cherished belongings for an extended period.

In conclusion, we strongly advise against entrusting your move to this company. We hope that sharing our experience will raise awareness and prompt US Rail and Interstate Movers to reevaluate their practices and treat their customers with the respect they deserve. A moving company should alleviate the stress of a move, not exacerbate it.

SCAM! DO NOT BOOK

DO NOT BOOK THIS COMPANY!!!

They dont even deserve a 1 star. I helped my sister and her family move to another state. While my sister and family had already moved, their things were still at my home so I was the one in contact with the movers. My sister discussed with them all the items she had and they gave her a quote prior to the pick up date. On the scheduled pick up date, I showed the movers all of my sisters things. After looking at all the items they stated they cant take it all unless my sister pays an additional $5K. I was in disbelief because why would any company want to charge extra money after stating a certain amount and having a signed contract in place. Also why would they think people will be open to pay thousands of dollars without agreeing to it prior. After discussing this issue with a manager (that was very rude), we decided they will take somethings and have to leave some. This was very stressful for my sister and her family because they needed all their things. After 1 week of waiting they finally delivered my sister's things just to tell her it will be an additional amount to drop it off because of the kind of truck they had. Once they dropped their things off my sister realize they broke her tv, broke so many of her kitchenware, and misplaced some items. Dealing with this company was so stressful from the beginning to the end. This company is a scam! I repeat DO NOT BOOK THEM.

WORST DECISION OF MY LIFE

WORST DECISION OF MY LIFE—-These people are a scam! We provided a pretty detailed description of our items and on the day of pick up received a phone call with a new quote that would be more than double the initial quote. We had moved and had family facilitating the move. They claimed the extra boxes we had would take up that much room when in reality our things were never going to fit in the space they allotted us on this “18 wheeler truck”. Please keep in mind a lot of furniture items were no longer being moved so the extra boxes should have been able to fit with no problem. We had to leave all our large furniture in order for us to be able to keep to the space and not incur the extra cost. We couldn’t cancel because they made it known that we would forfeit our deposit.

As if this wasn’t bad enough! The day of drop off they call that their “18 wheeler” will not be able to come to a our drop off because it is residential and an additional fee will be needed for a smaller truck to bring our items to our house. This call came in a few hours before they wanted to drop it off. No call when it left their warehouse to let us know that the items were on the way like I was instructed they would do when I called for an update a few days before. They expected the final payment in cash (this we knew already) and now the additional fee would need to be paid in cash as well.

When the items arrived we quickly realized there was no way all our items would have fit in the space allotted for us. The people that did the actual moving of the boxes were very polite and professional and quick. The truck arrived with my child’s baby gate strapped to the back of it and completely filthy.

The person we spoke to initially, Christina, started this horrible experience. She was so nice, persistent and did whatever it took to make this sale and get our deposit. She did not make the it clear that we would have to pay a shuttle fee because our drop off was in a residential area. She did not allot enough space for our items so that the day of we would have no choice but to pay more if we wanted all our things. The lack of communication once our items were picked and with them was also another issue. We didn’t hear from them until a few hours before they wanted to drop off our things. Of course not before the twisted our arm for even more money. We are now forced to find a way to get all the large furniture items they left to us. And additional cost that should never have been incurred.

Definitely a bad decision by using this company. It was nothing but heartache from the time they arrived to pick up our items!!

Long-distance move from Kansas City, KS to Saint Louis, MO

Fucking Terrible Service

DO NOT USE THIS RAGGEDY COMPANY!!!! I had a representative named Jeremy Bowman reach out to me and give an estimated price of $1675 to move my apartment from Kansas City, KS to St.Louis MO. I booked at the end if July for my move today on 8/26. He assured me that the company would reach out weeks in advance to be sure my estimate of inventory didn't change and that the delivery date was still the same. From the time I paid the $670 deposit in August, until 8/23 I heard nothing from the company. I even called the customer service number to be sure my move was still scheduled. I talked to multiple reps that gave me different information on when I would rec my Q/A call confirming the visit and they said they dont call in advance to confirm anything after booking, besides the Q/a call. Finally, they called me on 8/23 and confirmed the visit. They gave no estimated time of arrival even when I asked. They told me on 8/26, the day of my move, a separate driver would be reaching out to me about an hour before arrival. They told me that if I wanted more information I could call the customer service line back and they could give me a possible range of when they would arrive.

Today, I called the customer service line and the representative told me they would be there between 8am and 3pm. My driver finally reached out to me letting me know he would be there around 12:30pm. At 12:30pm the driver showed up stating that he apologized for not coming earlier and that someone had broken into his truck stealing his laptop and some of his personal items. He also showed up with someone else's stuff packed on the trailer and they were making space for my stuff. NEVER did they communicate to me my stuff would be on a trailer with someone else's. I did not feel comfortable putting my stuff on there with someone else's unless they were going straight to St.Louis for drop off the same day - which they communicated to me they couldn't do same day drop off because they had other orders to pick up. The driver then went to take pictures of the things I needed moved and sent them to the company so they could give me a final estimate. Someone from the company by the name of Debbie called and said that my price had increased from $1675 to about $2400! When I asked why, she became extremely unprofessional, and had a horrible attitude! When I asked when my stuff would be delivered to St.Louis, she said "I don't know! Sometime next week!" When I asked if she could give me a specific day she said, "I'm not sure! You're gonna have to just wait and see!" I ended up canceling the move because I did not feeling comfortable, and I had already been given the run around and I did not feel right.

The only reason that I went with the company was because they gave a price cheaper than local movers here in Kansas City. This company is a huge setup!! I've put in a complaint with a lady by the name of Stephanie C., who had me sign a contract stating I would get a full refund of $670 mailed to my house. I STILL HAVE NOT GOTTEN ANYTHING! I even contacted them again and havent heard a thing!

If you're looking for long distance movers, it may be best to use your local movers if they do long distance - even if the price is more! Do NOT waste your time!!!

Long-distance move from Mesa, AZ to Martinsville, VA

Worse scam moving company

US Interstate and Rail LLC is the worse moving company! They stole my property and are a total fraud! The add hidden charges to the paperwork after you sign them. Then, when they deliver, after 3 months, they upcharge and take your property if you don't pay in cash. I loss all my property and have complaints with the BBB, DOT, AG and the local Police departments against them for theft! @usinterstateandrailllc US Interstate Van Lines LLC #usinterstateandrailllc

All I want is my property back without a lawsuit. This is a devastating situation to me and whomever else dealing with this shady company that needs to be out of business and in prison.

Beware of US Interstate and Rail LLC movers! They will pickup, never deliver, upcharge and steal everything from you.

Long-distance move from Springfield, MO to East Peoria, IL

Run. As Fast as you can from these people!

I hired them in June to move me 6 hours away. Nothing we agreed on happened. They sold my contract to another company that proceeded to demand almost $5000 more after 70% of my belongings were on the truck. The men demanded (and I DO mean demanded) $350 each for a "tip." They held my belongs 7 weeks. When they arrived my sectional was soaked as well as my other furniture. Most of my things were damaged. This $2,100 move cost me $12,000 by the time I paid them, "tips", and items I needed to buy to survive until my stuff arrived...like a bed, mattress, kitchen items, a loveseat, lamps, window coverings, washer and dryer...you get the picture. It was supposed to be a 3 day move so my work attire was all packed. I had to buy new clothes, shoes, everything. I am in contact with the States Attorney's office in two states. Hopefully they will stop these people.

Long-distance move from San Mateo, CA to Sammamish, WA

These are thieves and scammers

They require a deposit and then double the price. If the client terminates the transaction, the company does not return the deposit. They promise to accept credit card payment, but then add a 5% surcharge. They cheat when estimating cargo volume. After all these scams, they still extort tips. If you want the full measure of deception, fraud and extortion, deal with this company.
